BOGIE HEARTH FURNACES

Solar Impianti produces a broad range of bogie hearth furnaces for the treatment of small parts and articles of greater size and weight.
The furnace can, depending on the application and materials concerned, reach 1200°C and above, and the heating system can involve:
• Naked-flame gas burners
• Gas burners with radiant tubes (indirect heating in neutral atmosphere)
• Electric heating elements

The body of the oven is insulated with a light refractory lining and ceramic fibre modules, while the hearth has heat-insulating cement and pre-formed bricks made with extremely fire-resistant material right down to the base.

All of our furnaces especially the larger ones (chambers>150 m³, hearths of 15 m and loads >50.000 kg) are produced taking the following into account:

UNIFORM TEMPERATURE IN THE CHAMBER
An innovative pulse system increases heat transmission in the burners to create optimal conditions for convective heat flux.

TO GUARANTEE AND CONTROL THE REQUIRED TREATMENT PROCESS
The surface temperature of the products is monitored using thermocouple contacts or infrared probes

SAVING ENERGY AND KNOCKING DOWN RUNNING COSTS
– Double heat exchanger (for pre-heating the combustion air and heating the environment)
